- Assistant Professor of Finance
Description
The University of Tennessee at Martin, College of Business and Global Affairs, Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance seeks applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track positions in Finance. The College of Business and Global Affairs is AACSB accredited. The start date for both positions is August 1, 2026.
Position includes undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, and related service activities. Both an ability and interest in teaching graduate and online courses are desirable. Summer teaching is optional and dependent on demand.
For tenure consideration, research efforts must result in peer-reviewed journal publications and other intellectual contributions commensurate with the College’s AACSB accreditation status and outlined in the College’s Policies and Procedures Manual.
Requirements
Candidates must have a strong focus on undergraduate teaching. Specializations in corporate finance, investments, financial markets and institutions, and international finance will be considered.
An earned doctorate in Finance from an institution accredited by AACSB is required. ABD with a passed dissertation defense by August 2026 will be considered.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
