Aufgaben
- Ensure full alignment of all financial systems and processes across European operations with corporate standards
- Own the execution of forecasts, budgeting, scenario modeling, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including R&D reporting
- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure effective cost control and operational financial oversight
- Provide standard cost rollups, variance analysis, and accurate cost allocations to support margin analysis, manufacturing decisions, and commercial strategy
- Manage fixed assets, capital expenditure planning, and investment evaluations (ROI, IRR, Payback)
- Track and improve working capital performance by managing inventory turnover, monitoring AR aging and collection risks, and ensuring disciplined AP practices to support healthy cash conversion cycles
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
- Work closely with Group Finance and Shared Services to drive process improvements and leverage resources across regions
Profil
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is favourable.
- Experience in similar roles and proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and FP&A.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, while having basic knowledge in local European accounting standards and tax regulations being highly advantageous.
- Experience with financial systems implementation and process improvement.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and experience in engaging cross-cultural teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external parties.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in another European language, such as German, being highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel frequently between Singapore and Europe.
